Domain Registration Agreement

This Agreement explains the registration-data requirements that apply when a domain name is registered, transferred or managed through Hostonce. It should be read with the Hostonce Registration Agreement, Privacy Policy and any rules that apply to the relevant top-level domain.

Hostonce collects and processes registration data to:

Registration data may include the Registrant's full name, organization where applicable, street address, city, region, postal code, country, email address and telephone number, together with technical, administrative and billing contact details where required.

Some registries require extra information, documents, local-presence evidence or eligibility details. Hostonce will request those items when they are necessary for the selected domain.

The Registrant must provide true, complete and current information, update it promptly after any change and respond to verification messages or reasonable requests for supporting evidence.

The Registrant confirms that every listed contact has authorized the submission and processing of their information. Inaccurate, incomplete or unverified data may cause a registration request to fail or a domain to be suspended or cancelled where permitted or required.

Hostonce, its registrar partner or the registry may send verification emails, confirm eligibility for a country-code or restricted domain, request identity or organization documents, and perform automated or manual fraud and accuracy checks.

Only information reasonably necessary for registration, verification, security or compliance will be requested. Failure to complete a required verification within the stated time may affect the domain.

Hostonce may share registration data only as reasonably necessary with the relevant registrar partner, registry operator, data escrow provider, technical service provider, ICANN-mandated directory service, professional adviser or competent authority.

Disclosure may be required to complete a domain transaction, maintain mandatory escrow records, respond to a valid legal or security request, resolve a domain dispute or comply with applicable policy.

Service providers may use the data only for their authorized function or as required by law. Hostonce does not sell domain registration data for money.

Registration data displayed through RDAP, WHOIS or a similar directory may be redacted or hidden where permitted by law and applicable policy. Certain data may remain public where a registry or mandatory rule requires publication.

A person seeking access to non-public registration data must use the applicable Hostonce, registrar, registry or ICANN request process and provide a lawful purpose and sufficient supporting information. Redaction does not remove the Registrant's duty to provide accurate data to Hostonce.

Registration data is retained while the domain is active and afterwards for as long as reasonably necessary to meet registry, registrar, ICANN, tax, security, dispute and legal obligations. Retention periods may differ by data type and jurisdiction.

When information is no longer required, Hostonce will delete, anonymize or securely dispose of it in accordance with applicable requirements and operational processes.

Depending on applicable law, a person may request access to registration data, correction of inaccurate information, details about its use, restriction or deletion where permitted, or another available privacy right.

A deletion or restriction request may be limited where the information is required to keep the domain registered, comply with registry or ICANN rules, protect security, retain transaction records or meet a legal obligation. Requests may require identity and authority verification.

Hostonce uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect registration data, including access controls, encryption where appropriate, secure storage, monitoring and incident-response procedures.

No system is completely secure. The Registrant must protect account credentials, maintain a secure contact email address and notify Hostonce promptly of suspected unauthorized access or an unauthorized change.

Hostonce may update this Agreement to reflect changes in law, ICANN policy, registry requirements, providers or registration practices. Material changes will be posted on the website or communicated through the Client Area or email where reasonably practicable.
